Born in Montreal, he grew up on the South Shore before moving onto the island. He attended high school at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf before beginning his medical studies at McGill. After obtaining his Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.), he then veered from the healthcare path to explore the world of organic agriculture. Gérald went on to study music before discovering acupuncture through his Vietnamese kung fu teacher. The unique approach of Chinese medicine has captivated him, and still does to this day. Gentleness, precision and patience are its three pillars of acupuncture.

Gérald believes in proper physical activity as fundamental to maintaining overall vitality. His background illustrates this vision: competitive tennis, brown belt in karate, as well as Vietnamese kung fu in private transmission. He also distinguished himself as an extracurricular athlete: track and field, basketball, badminton. As an adult, he became passionate about dance. He took classes in salsa, swing, tango, ballet and African dance. He deepened his experience in martial arts with courses in aikido, ninjutsu and qigong. He also has a passion for soccer and was a regional referee. Finally, he discovered the Yang family’s taijiquan in his private transmission, a practice that he shares today as a student of the Gilles Thibault School.

It is therefore with pleasure, ease, and athletic experience that Gérald is ready to optimize your body, to help you get rid of your discomforts and to introduce you to the multiple benefits of acupuncture and its cutting edge expertise.
