Alexis completed her Bachelor of Science at Concordia University in Health, Kinesiology, and Applied Physiology with a specialization in Athletic Therapy. As a certified athletic therapist, Alexis utilizes manual therapy and active rehabilitation skills to develop positive outcomes for her patients. Through training, she has obtained expertise in advanced emergency care to offer the safest environment when treating her athletes. Alexis has experience in field work as well as in clinic servicing several sports teams of different levels (e.g., recreational, varsity) such as rugby, hockey, football, soccer, and lacrosse

Her involvement in hockey for over eight years eventually led her to pursue a career in athletic therapy. This allowed Alexis to develop a deep appreciation for sports and a crucial understanding of the various tribulations that affect athletes. She believes this is an asset in her practice as an AT as she can relate to athletes, while still being able to tend to their physical rehabilitation.

Alexis is an accredited member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (CATA) and the Corporation des Thérapeutes du Sport du Québec (CTSQ), while also being certified as a Sports First Responder (SFR). By fostering an inclusive environment, Alexis uses her strong knowledge to promote health and rehabilitation in a diverse group of clients with the ultimate goal of returning them to their active lifestyles.
